Unique opportunity to identify and approach small to mid-capped ASX-listed companies that are doing interesting things with a view to providing mainstream media newspaper and radio coverage of their market activities.
Autonomous role reporting to the Managing Director with your own office based in Perth.

- Seek out ASX-listed companies based in WA and South Australia that are doing interesting things and offer coverage of their market news across the largest newspaper and radio outlets in every major capital city in Australia.
- Follow the ASX every day and read all announcements
- Attend ASX-listed company and investor functions
- Identify upcoming ASX listings and approach them with a view to covering their news
- Identify short term clients for week to week radio coverage and long term clients for annual online newspaper coverage
- Maintain online customer relationship management software
- The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience working with ASX-listed companies or organisations that deal with them.
- Ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years industry experience within a PR firm, an investor relations firm, a financial news media firm, the stockbroking /corporate finance industry or in a corporate advisory firm
- Whilst knowledge of the ASX and its listed companies is the most important attribute, preference will be given to those that have performed sales roles in the afore-mentioned industries
- A genuine interest in corporate finance, public relations, or stock broking
- Good ability to converse comfortably with public companies, Managing Directors and build strong and long-lasting relationships.
- Confident, self-motivated, and professional who is not afraid the make cold calls
