The Role
Reporting to the Head Chef Billy Hannigan, the Apprentice Chef will work within a rotation of the sections within the kitchen, finessing their cooking style using a variety of techniques. Through your on the job learning, as well as the technical training received by completing an apprenticeship through TAFE, you will ensure dishes are prepared according to specification, hygiene and safety protocols are adhered to at all times, and production of all dishes for our guests is executed to the highest standard every time.
This is a Full Time opportunity for an Apprentice Chef with a passion for world-class hospitality, artisan breads and who is invested in their own development. You will work within a team of experienced, passionate Chefs, who consistently strive for excellence.
Experience and Qualification
- Studying Commercial Cooking (or looking to commence)
- Some experience in a la carte environments favourable
- Reliable and dependable, you will be able to stand the pace of a kitchen that puts equal emphasis on precision and speed
