The Opportunity

Our client is in the process of expanding the team in our Sydney office located in a centralised position in the CBD. We are seeking an experienced and high calibre individual to provide support to our Account Managers in managing and servicing an existing book of Construction and Marine business and provide support on new business initiatives.

The successful candidate will find themselves in an organisation and role that offers:

There’s real work to be done in:

  • Providing general administrative support to the Account Managers and back up broking tasks
  • Maintaining client/insurer relationships
  • Managing renewals, new business and claims settlements including the preparation of client related documents such as renewal reports and insurance manuals
  • Providing broad based assistance in the development and growth of the business.
  • Developing relationships with industry peers and representing at networking events
  • Keeping up to date with insurance market developments and regulatory environment


Your Experience

With previous insurance industry experience under your belt, you’re looking for a unique opportunity to grow your career, with ongoing professional training, development, mentoring and coaching from highly qualified professionals. As an enthusiastic team player who understands the power of exceptional client service, you’ll be;

  • Tier 2 qualified (Tier 1 or Diploma highly regarded)
  • A quick and keen learner with well-developed problem-solving abilities, who is not afraid to ask questions, capable of seeing the bigger picture and adopts a common sense approach
  • A team player and motivated to contribute directly to the achievement of KPIs impacting client service commitments, revenue and client satisfaction
  • A self starter eager to take the initiative to ensure the efficient running and growth of the portfolio
  • Highly organised with your finger on the pulse, keen to take ownership and with the ability to prioritise and perform under pressure
  • An excellent communicator (verbal and written) engaging effectively at all levels.
