People And Culture Assistant

Description:

The Tree Company are among the most respected tree service providers in Melbourne with over 20 years experience, operating out of three depots (Surrey Hills, Preston and Flemington), we specialize in large scale tree management solutions including pruning, bracing and preservation, complete removal and plant health care.

We are looking for an ambitious, process-driven People and Culture Assistant willing to work 30 hours per week and you may be what we are looking for!

What is included in the role:

• Key support to the People and Culture Manager with the ongoing training of staff, including co-ordinating training bookings with training providers and staff and developing training content
• Support the People and Culture Manager in maintaining key systems including updating systems, maintaining system records and internal processes
• Fleet Management including asset tracking and administration, registration, fuel/toll accounts, and infringements
• General office administration including filing, answering phones, maintenance and upkeep of records, ordering office supplies and other ad-hoc duties as required
• Assist in employee engagement strategies
• Schedule and organise meetings; including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
• Maintain IT services including ensuring IT systems and equipment are fit for purpose
• Ongoing maintenance of Social media including: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and others as required
• Other duties as the role develops

What you will need to succeed:

• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Must be a self-starter and driven
• Intermediate technology skills, including proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook
