Your new role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitably experienced person for the role of Manager Finance and Accounting.

This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointment up to the 31st of January 2025 with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

As part of the Health Support Services (HSS) Finance and Operations Business Unit, the Manager, Finance and Accounting is responsible for:

  • Leading and managing the finance and accounting functions and providing strategic direction to support the effective finance and account performance and delivery of key outputs;
  • Preparing and providing compliance and statutory reporting on behalf of HSS to relevant bodies as required;
  • Managing month-end processes, controls, accruals and cash flows to ensure the financial viability of HSS;
  • Providing effective capital accounting services and advice to key stakeholders;
  • Ensuring all legislative and WA health system requirements are appropriately met; and
  • Providing regular financial reporting, working and briefing papers for the HSS Senior Leadership, the Executive Group and the HSS Board and associated Board sub-committees, and provides insights as required.
