About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced person, looking for a chance to deliver purpose driven, impactful Inclusion & Diversity (I&D) initiatives to advance I&D at TAC and ultimately for the Victorian Community.
The Inclusion & Diversity Specialist sits within People, Culture & Engagement Division and will work with the Inclusion & Diversity Lead and business stakeholders to scope, design and deliver key initiatives, policies and experiences to advance I&D at the TAC.
As the Inclusion and Diversity Specialist you will lead various enterprise wide I&D initiatives that help deliver on our strategic goals. You will work across our 5 diversity group areas and supporting our key action plans such as our Gender Equity Action plan, Access and Inclusion plan, RAP etc.

You will be supported by a team who live and breathe the importance of Inclusion and Diversity every day, who deeply value lived experience and cultural safety. You will be joining a team who work collaboratively to execute enterprise wide initiatives and operate within broader team of people focused on transforming and enhancing the employee experience for people of all backgrounds.
What we’re looking for
In depth understanding of the employee experience of variety of diversity groups
An understanding of what makes a great and culturally safe employee experience within an organisation, particularly from the perspective of those who are in underrepresented communities (such as LGBTIQ+, People living with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and Culturally & Linguistically diverse people).
Proven project management experience for enterprise wide I&D initiatives
Experience in the creation and implementation of inclusion and diversity policies, programs and/ or initiatives that address equity, diversity, and social inclusion opportunities to grow diversity and enhance inclusive practices.
Strong relationship management and stakeholder experience
Experience in developing meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
