Tou's Garden, a stunning Mango Farm spanning 1900 acres in Acacia Hills, NT, invites applications for Casual Farm Labourer positions. We are a family-owned and operated business dedicated to cultivating various mango varieties. Located just an hour's drive south of Darwin city, our farm offers a unique and rewarding work experience.Position: Casual Farm Labourer

Number of Positions: 45 workers
Key Responsibilities
Picking, packing, cleaning, pruning, spraying, weeding, nursery work, and other general farm duties.
Work may involve physically demanding tasks, including reaching above head height, using pickers for mangoes, and lifting packed cases onto pallets.
Working Conditions
Hot and humid tropical climate, with temperatures often exceeding 40 degrees Celsius.
Work hours between 6 am and 6 pm, varying daily based on weather conditions and seasonal demands.
Possibility of extended hours during mango picking season, up to a maximum of 50 hours per week or 304 hours over an 8-week period.
Remuneration
Full Time position of 38 hours per week as per the Horticulture Award 2020 (MA000028) - $28.26 per hour (includes casual loading of 25%)
Opportunities for additional hours during peak seasons.
Requirements
Good work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work on weekdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
No Prior Farm Experience Required.
Australian working rights (Valid Australian Working VISA).
Working Environment
Physically demanding work outdoors in hot and humid conditions.
Fitness and good physical health are essential.
Regular breaks and days off provided to manage fatigue and ensure safety and well-being.
