Our firm is a busy certified public accounting practice that has been operating in Melbourne for many years. We have a large client base and provide professional accounting, taxation and business services.
The Role
We are looking to bring on a highly motivated Intermediate Accountant to take on a portfolio of clients to service across accounting and taxation compliance, and ensure efficient and accurate delivery of these services.
As an Intermediate Accountant you will:
Undertake full ranges of duties as general accountant, and manage assigned accounting jobs and client relationships effectively
Provide exceptional technical compliance service
Preparation of compliance files (BAS, tax return etc.) for diverse clients including individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts
Liaise with other third parties in relation to accounting and compliance matters on clients’ behalf as/where needed
Work efficiently to achieve targets
The Candidate
The ideal candidate needs to be self-motivated; client focused and have an attitude to portfolio management responsibilities and perform them well.
Relevant technical experience in professional accounting.
Commerce/Accounting Degree.
CPA qualified or studying towards.
Strong English and Chinese language skills (written and verbal)
Resilient, agreeable, hard-working, and willing to go above and beyond.
Ability to learn new technology, processes & systems quickly.
Attention to detail.
Advanced in Excel, XERO, MYOB, Quickbook and Reckon Elite
Enjoys working in a progressive and changing professional environment.
