About the role :
Centurion is currently recruiting for Specialised Hi-Explosive MC Drivers to join our team based at our Kalgoorlie depot on a FIFO 2 : 1 basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the transportation of Specialised Class 1 Explosive goods to our customer specified sites in a safe manner, ensuring our suppliers and customers commitments are met on schedule.
This role is only offered on a FIFO basis from Perth OR Adelaide.

What your days would look like :
- Loading and unloading of Specialised Class 1 Explosive products
- Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements
- Conforming to the Australian Explosives Industry Code Of Practice Regulations and Legislation
- Transporting freight in a safe and efficient manner to and from customer sites
- Ensuring that attention to details is present whilst transporting high consequences products
Do you tick the boxes?
- Current MC Drivers Licence
- Current DGSC licence (essential)
- Current DG Drivers licence (essential)
- Current C1 Explosives licence or Statement of attainment for C1 course (essential)
- National Police Clearance - Not more than 6 months old (essential)
- Ability to work on a FIFO 2 : 1 arrangement
- Perth OR Adelaide resident or ability to facilitate your travel to Perth / Adelaide at your own expense
- Previous experience carting dangerous goods
- Safe driving record and commitment to creating a safe work environment
- A sound knowledge of road transport legislation and knowledge of the Australian Explosives Industry Code of Practice Regulations
- Experience working across remote locations
