Job Purpose
Ensure welding operating tasks and activities within time frame in agreement with the objectives fixed in term of performance, quality and safety.
Job Description
- Produce welded components to acceptable quality standards and in a timely manner.
- Work in a safe manner, produce a quality product, achieve standard times, meet on time delivery requirements, ensure compliance with Quality and HSE procedures.
- Be able to weld to applicable WPS and produce welds that are acceptable to Q specs and industry standards.
- Maintain traceability of parts. Record quality data.
- Communication with Manufacturing Lead. Participate in cell activities.
- Maintain good housekeeping through 5S initiative.
You are meant for this job if :
- Must have a industry recognised apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience in a weld shop environment.
- Product knowledge and HSES.
- Problem solving - ability to define problems.
- Good organisational skills.
- Working knowledge of office tools and multiple company platforms (SAP) - desireble.
