An exciting opportunity has become available for the permanent Principal of Samford State School to commence in Term 2, 2024. As the Principal of Samford State School, you will play a vital role in delivering the vision of the department.

The leadership role of Principal is critical to improving the educational outcomes of students in their schools. The Principal has a major influence on developing the quality of teaching and learning and nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers and stakeholders.

  • Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
  • Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
