Our client is a local automotive crash repair shop in Port Augusta are currently seeking an experience Panel Beater to join there hard working and dedicated team.
As a qualified Panel beater, you will bring your experience and a “can do” attitude along with a high level of attention to detail.
To be considered for this role you must possess the following attributes:
- Be a fully qualified Panel Beater with at least 3 years’ experience in collision repair.
- Superior work ethic
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- A friendly and approachable personality
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Removing damaged panels and parts and removing upholstery and accessories to gain access
- Removing dents by hammering panels
- Straightening damaged vehicles and parts using mechanical and hydraulic equipment
- Replacing badly damaged sections with new or second-hand panels
- Filling depressions with plastic filler and filing, grinding, and sanding repaired surfaces
- Cutting and joining replacement sections using welding equipment
- Fitting repaired or replacement panels on vehicles and refitting body hardware such as door locks and trims.
This is a full time position with a basic salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 p.a +super and opportunities to grow in your career.
