About the Role:
As the Sous Chef at this pub, you'll play a pivotal role in leading, developing and mentoring the kitchen team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll contribute to menu development, supervise kitchen operations, and lead a team of talented chefs to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, drive innovation, and be part of a dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality setting.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a reputable restaurant or high volume pub
- Strong understanding of Modern Australian cuisine, culinary techniques, and food trends
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
