To be successful in this role you will have:
* Demonstrated contemporary clinical knowledge in in the management of Rheumatic Heart Disease and public health service delivery within the remote health care setting and public health outbreak response.
* Demonstrated leadership and ability to act as a clinical resource, advisory, mentor, role model and technical expert to members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated ability to work with remote First Nation communities and support cultural diversity.

Requirements for the role:
* Post-graduation qualification in Public Health or Nursing; or working towards is highly desirable.
* Participate in an on-call roster as applicable.
* Will be required at times to work weekends and a flexible roster as necessary to meet organisational requirements and to respond to public health emergencies.
* Travel across the TCHHS is a requirement of this position in commercial and/or light aircraft and 4WD vehicles.
