THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Forklift Driver / Machine Operator based in Ormeau . This position involves working as part of our collaborative Manufacturing team.
This is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday (day shift 6:30 am - 2:36 pm).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the Manufacturing team by operating forklift and maneuvering materials within the factory
- Interpreting product drawings and using machinery to manufacture products to customer requirements
- Operating roll form and general sheet metal equipment
- General housekeeping tasks
- Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
- Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment

- Essential – problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
- Essential – strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
- Advantageous - Gantry Crane & Forklift licence & experience
- Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
