Locale NoosaWe are seeking a full-time restaurant manager. You will be able to influence and motivate the team and ensure our guests receive a memorable experience. We require a leader who can showcase great talent and drive a service focused culture in the restaurant.
The appropriate candidate will be required to motivate, train and educate our staff to provide excellent customer service as well as to work alongside our award-winning kitchen team. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation as well as maintain high customer service standards, strong productivity amongst the team and ensure the consistency and quality of our product and service.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift and support our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and our clientele are looked after to the highest standard.

Task & Responsibilities- Coordinating daily restaurant management operations
- Staff management and supervision, section allocation, closing procedures
- Delivering superior food and beverage service and maximizing customer satisfaction
- Responding efficient and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
- Coordinate daily front and back of house operations
- Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
- Organise and supervise shifts
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
- Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices
- Implement policies that will maintain and improve restaurant standards
- Ensure dining facilities comply with health and liquor licensing regulations
- Ensure a safe working environment is maintained
- Proven work experience in a similar dine-dining large restaurant as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Bar Manager, or similar role
- Proven customer service experience as a manager
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with the ability to remember and recall specific ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
- A sound knowledge of Italian cuisine is desired but not essential
- Proficiency with restaurant management software, such as OpenTable and POS systems such as Bepoz
- Strong wine knowledge is beneficial
- Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
- Financial analysis and management skills
- The ability to work hands-on where required within a fast-paced environment.
Locale Noosa is a hatted Italian restaurant on Noosa’s iconic Hastings Street. We are currently looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead our team of hospitality professionals and to assist in the management of all aspects of front of house operations.
