Position Overview: We are seeking a versatile and hands-on individual to join our team as a Ride Repair and Sales Technician. This role requires a combination of mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and a can-do attitude. As a Ride Repair and Sales Technician, you will be responsible for driving to different locations, servicing and repairing amusement rides, as well as selling our products to new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive company vehicle to various locations to service and repair amusement rides.
- Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot mechanical issues with rides, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rides to ensure they are in safe and operational condition.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Promote our products and services to potential customers, actively seeking out new business opportunities.
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical or electrical fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in a hands-on or mechanical role, such as automotive repair, maintenance, or similar field.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be comfortable driving and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
