Description:
The College is seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic and dedicated classroom teacher to join our Primary Department.
This position is to commence in Term 2, 2024.
The successful applicant will:
- have a sound knowledge of and a commitment to the Church's mission in Catholic Education
- display effective interpersonal skills and the ability to work cooperatively with others in building an inclusive learning community
- have highly effective communication skills and a disposition to work in partnership with parents and colleagues
- be a flexible and adaptive educator eager to develop and implement authentic learning experiences for all students
- demonstrate an ability to use assessment data to inform learning and teaching
- be familiar with current theory and best practice in teaching Literacy and Numeracy
- have competence with the use of technology to enhance learning
- have effective classroom practice and student management
- be willing to participate in ongoing professional development
- be prepared to work collaboratively with fellow grade members
