About the role
The Event Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting the delivery of high net worth, quality fundraising events that align with the organisation's strategic direction and support the achievement of CPA's fundraising targets.
The role is based on the Northern Beaches with flexible WFH opportunities.
Responsibilities of the role (not limited to):
  • Assisting the Head of Events and the Events team
  • Coordinating the online fundraising platform
  • Creating online surveys, invitations & rsvp systems in line with the CPA Brand guidelines
  • Coordinating event collateral including risk documents, operational plans, invitations
  • Managing the equipment store which services all our events
  • Taking minutes for committee meetings
  • Managing supporter and participant database through customer relationship management systems
About you:
We are looking for a switched-on university or TAFE graduate who has studied events as part of their degree/course OR an Events Assistant with 6 months experience. You will thrive in an environment where you are juggling lots of balls in the air and happy to roll your sleeves up and get the job done with a smile!
You will have:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to analyse problems and deliver solutions
  • Outstanding time management, organisational skills and be calm under pressure
  • Results driven with a "can-do" approach
  • Strong social medial/technology skills with intermediate MS office skills
  • Current NSW Driver's licence
