Located in Western Sydney. This family run business have a reputation that proceeds them withing the joinery industry. This is the perfect opportunity for an experience PM who likes working across all aspects of joinery. The would be a definite requirement for experience within the shopfitting trade as a lot of their work comes from a steady stream of high-end retail fitouts.
The Role
- Coordinate with clients, architects, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project objectives are met within specified timelines and budgets
- Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and address any issues or delays promptly
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets effectively, track expenses, and negotiate with suppliers to optimise costs while maintaining quality
- Lead and motivate project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure successful project outcomes
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing progress reports, addressing concerns, and managing expectations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel
The Requirements
- Trade Qualification in joinery/ cabinet making/ shopfitting is absolutely non-negotiable. Must have to apply!
- Full working rights in Australia is also required for the role
- Strong knowledge of shopfitting processes, materials, and techniques
