About the Role
As an experienced and qualified Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in advocating for and caring for our clients across various roles within the community. Working as part of a supportive team, you will need to demonstrate flexibility across different shifts, facility, home and respite care, and ongoing services within our community. We are looking for individuals who are compassionate, dedicated, and thrive on building meaningful relationships with their clients.
What Your Day Will Look Like
- Assisting residents with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers
- Assisting with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration
- Providing companionship and engaging residents in social activities
- Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents
- Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations
- Delivering high-quality services within a home environment
- Implementing interventions based on personalized care plans
To Apply, You Will Need:
- A passion for helping others
- Qualifications in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Health Services Assistance
- Current Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Driver's license
- Evidence of current flu vaccination
- Evidence of Covid vaccinations (including booster)
- Experience working within both facility and community environments
- Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication skills
