The role...
The role of Business Development Manager – Mergers and Acquisitions is responsible for the sourcing of business acquisition and merger opportunities nationally for the Myhealth Medical Group. The Business Development Manager has direct responsibility to identify, source and develop acquisition and merger opportunities for the Myhealth Medical Group. Supporting State Directors through the initial engagement of leads, due diligence and finally onboarding.
A typical day will involve..
  • Plan, develop, and conduct prospecting campaigns.
  • Source, identify and develop acquisition, merger and corporate development opportunities in partnership with State Directors and the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Manage the due diligence processes associated with acquisitions, mergers.
  • Leverage and build internal CRM and create reports with the purpose of building a pipeline and keeping relevant stakeholders up to date.
  • Work with and alongside stakeholders' in support of new mergers.
  • Establish, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with key medical businesses helping to progress prospective targets through a sourcing pipeline.
Who we are looking for..
  • Previous medical experience in the medical industry - essential
  • High curiosity and drive to connect with business owners, and learn about their business and their stories
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail - essential
  • Previous experience in sourcing and managing mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel - highly desired
