They now have an opportunity for an experienced credit officer to join their dynamic team and offering the necessary training and development which will enable you to gain a better understanding of your key clients and work demands.
The Role:
Reporting to the Credit Manager your daily duties will include however not be limited to;
• Managing your own ledger of approximately 1500 accounts
• Collection and management of overdue accounts
• Reducing DSO’s
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers
• Reconciling customer accounts
• Prompt & efficient handling of all disputes and enquiries and recognising cash flow issues
• Update and maintain accurate master data of accounts
• Assist with month end processes, ensure the sub ledgers are aligned with GL
The Candidate:
You must have excellent customer service skills and possess good verbal and communication skills. Ability to effectively reduce DSO’s and manage your own ledger along with;
• Previous credit experience within a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and ready to take on a challenge
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
• Display confidence when liaising with key stakeholders
• Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
• Fast and accurate processing skills
• SAP experience will be highly regarded
