Customer 1 to 1 Marketing Specialist

  • Fixed Term Contract to December 2024
  • Location Flexible across Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane
  • Execute programs to contribute to the growth of customers within Suncorp

About the role:

  • Execute needs based 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs to grow customer lifetime value and revenue generation.
  • Assist with defining and automating 1:1 marketing & personalised communication programs.
  • Support Brand Marketing teams with 1:1 customer marketing programs.
  • Assist with defining & automating 1:1 & personalised communications programs.
  • Assist with developing new capabilities, MVPs and future needs for customer 1:1 marketing.
  • Identify and integrate new sources of data to drive program insight and effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Execute 1:1 marketing to support brand, financial and customer objectives.
  • Execute 1:1 marketing automated event and trigger-based marketing programs as required.
  • Execute frameworks and processes for automated customer programs i.e. Outbound, Remarketing, as required.
  • Execute programs to drive usage of loyalty programs and the app as requried
  • Implement audience and trigger-based programs in collaboration with broader Customer Marketing.
  • Identify and integrate new sources of data to drive program insight and effectiveness.
  • Ongoing optimisation of 1:1 comms programs.
  • Execute test and learn programs to drive marketing effectiveness existing campaigns and programs.
  • Execute key retention strategies and the Outbound Channel
  • Integration of Next Best Action and other key analytical models into programs
  • Develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for the 1 to 1 Marketing programs.
  • Maximise ROI of 1:1 comms programs.
  • Lead the sharing of insights and experience to relevant workgroups on best practise customer lifecycle programs.
  • Self-service within 3rd party marketing automation tool like Salesforce, Reponsys or Adobe in conjunction with 1:1 Enablement team
  • Work collaboratively with Digital and wider Customer Marketing teams to deliver seamless customers experiences.

About You:

  • Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing Mandatory
  • 3+ years marketing experience in a similar environment (either Client or Agency side) with a focus on direct marketing and/or customer marketing. Executing customer 1:1 marketing - eDM, OTM, DM etc

Key Capabilities:

  • Direct marketing processes - including mail, OTM, eDM, SMS and content
  • 1:1 automated event and trigger-based marketing programs including retention and loyalty programs
  • Understanding of analytics and marketing automation technology
  • Highly effective communication and consulting skills
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • A results driven outlook with proven ability to deliver
  • Planning, organising and attention to detail
  • Developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Enthusiasm for marketing data to identify opportunities & threats
  • Exposure to ROI marketing management
  • Ability to manage an allocated budget
  • Skilled in co-ordinating with external parties
  • Some HTML knowledge or experience
  • Understanding marketing automation and tools like Salesforce, Responsys or Adobe
