About the role

We are currently recruiting for a Digital Services Commercial Coordinator to join our Commercial and Vendor team within Digital Services.

As Digital Services Commercial Coordinator you will be responsible supporting the Commercial and Vendor teams with the provision of IT services, including contract, supplier and financial governance, analysis, reporting, quality assurance, risk and issues management, project coordination and resource management.

In this role you will support Essential Energy, Digital Services stakeholders and external suppliers in the administration and implementation of accurate administrative tasks to ensure the Commercial and Vendor activities adhere to committed time frames and applicable processes.

Ideally this role will be based in Port Macquarie, with the ability to work from home in a hybrid work environment.

About You

As a key member of our Commercial and Vendor team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of tasks and activities. Your ability to develop and maintain strong business partnerships with relevant stakeholders will be critical. Here's what we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, emphasising your proficiency in planning, execution, and administration.
  • Record-keeping expertise within business systems, including Oracle (ERP), vFire, MS Office and SharePoint, to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
  • Familiarity with relevant policies, procedures, and project management methodologies.

Skills:

  • Effective Communication: Your strong communication skills will allow you to address stakeholder needs and expectations, aligning with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: You thrive as part of a team, contributing collaboratively to deliver outcomes for the Commercial and Vendor team.
  • Process Coordination: You'll coordinate tasks, maintain communication channels, and drive consistency across teams, always seeking opportunities for improvement.
  • Analytical Abilities: Monitor, review, and identify trends and risks related to services scope, schedule, and costs using excel or other business intelligence tools.
  • Reporting: Prepare consolidated material and data from project schedules and financials, creating insightful reports and presentations for management review.

Required Qualifications

  • Certificate IV in Business or other relevant discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.

Desirable

  • Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting experience and/or relevant qualifications
  • Certificate in Project Management or other relevant discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
