An exciting opportunity currently exists for a Podiatrist join our dynamic Diabetes Foot Service and Podiatry Department at Western Health as a Grade 3 Podiatrist in full time role for 12 months from April 2024. Part time applicants will be considered.
The Podiatry Department provides service across Western Health including Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown Hospitals. The role includes a busy caseload of inpatients and outpatients and home based care across the continuum of care with a focus on acute high risk foot complications. The department has a strong emphasis on professional development, quality improvement, research and excellence in clinical practice.
To be Successful in this Role, you will:
- Have relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration as a podiatrist
- Be willing to work across different programs, services and sites to deliver Podiatric care
- Work well as a member of both a Podiatry and interdisciplinary team
- Have a solid level of computer literacy to navigate relevant systems required to undertake the role
- Be willing to take part in supervision and develop professionally
