Our client is an outstanding Australian organisation who have gone through some exciting growth. They are currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their high performing and supportive payroll team in a team based part-time role. The role on offer is 3 days per week (0.6), and is based out of their Melbourne CBD office. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and switched on individual!
The Responsibilities
The duties of the role will consist of the following; however, will not be limited to:
- Running the payroll end to end for a medium sized payroll
- Working alongside two others to process the payroll of 700 employees fortnightly
- Dealing with payroll queries or concerns
- Handling superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG
- Payroll reconciliations
- Working with EBA's and Awards
- Assisting with other adhoc accounts duties
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes; however not exclusive to:
- Has experience processing payroll end to end in a previous role
- High attention to detail
- SAP experience advantageous but not essential
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Attractive salary on offer, depending on experience
