Horizon Foods was established in 1994, a wholesale food distribution business suppling food product and cafe supplies across Northern Rivers from Byron Bay, today we distribute across the East Coast and are based in Tweed Heads.
We are happy to hear from those with experience and without in the wholesale food and distribution sector.
We are seeking a manager 5 day week Monday to Friday.
This role's primary function is the day-to-day orders, packing and distribution of product on our set runs and external transport partners to our customers.
You need to be great with customers and be proficient in entering customer orders into our software. Ideally experience with warehousing, transport, food or wholesale B2B is preferred.
- Work within our small team liaising with customers & warehouse.
- Co-ordinate customer orders, order entry, order fulfillment and daily delivery runs
- Review and invoice customer orders.
- Monitor warehouse staff to ensure timely pick and pack activities.
- Provide high levels of customer service to existing & new customers.
- Process customer orders & enquiries in a timely manner including upselling.
- Review/ monitor and update paperwork including delivery run sheets, standing orders and customer contact database.
- Business hours are Mon - Fri 7:30 to 4:30 (Fridays 3pm) and you will be required to work within these hours as agreed.
- Manage & resolve customer concerns in accordance with our company policies & procedures.
- Meet & observe all OH&S requirements and report any concerns to relevant people
- Increase & maintain product knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $28.00 – $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
