Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced responsible, caring, committed Diploma or Cert III qualified Educator to work full-time at Young Minds Academy - Hamlyn Terrace expected to open in June 2024.
Diploma or Cert III in Early Childhood Requirements: Minimum 2 years’ experience
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Work well in a team environment
- Passionate, enthusiastic and committed to high quality early childhood education
- Hold a current First Aid qualification
- Working with Children’s Check
- Permanent residency in Australia
- Full - Time role
The Role
- facilitate a play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners
- work with the Educational Leader to implement a program for the service that is reflective of an approved learning framework; the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) or My Time Our Place (MTOP)
- implement inclusive practice and lead an environment which honours diversity
- be proactive in ensuring currency in best early childhood practice
- develop an educational program based on knowledge of each individual child
- ensure the documentation of children’s developmental needs, interests, experiences and participation in the educational program in a variety of ways
- work with children, families and educators and staff to achieve optimal learning and developmental outcomes
