ABOUT OUR CLIENTOur client specialises in commercial renovations and office fit outs, shop fit outs and buildings interiors in Melbourne & Victoria. They have been delivering successful commercial interior projects across Australia for years.
Based in the CBD, they require a Business Development Manager to join this privately owned organisation, and secure projects for the coming year and beyond. The marketing cycles on the BD work in this role can range between 3 months up to 2 years and typical project values are from $100K into the millions!
If you have not worked in this space before, that's OK. Our client is open to a candidate with sales or business development experience in commercial real estate, tenant advisory, property development, design or construction. Some of the important skills and duties in this role include:
- Some who enjoys cold calling for new business.
- Having confidence picking up the phone and making calls – (and not hiding behind emails)
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to build rapport and converse at all levels.
- You will have an existing network on contacts to work with, you will be required to further expand and introduce new contacts to secure future and on-going business
OTE - $220K - $250K
