A fantastic opportunity exists for an experienced Community Nurse to join our Community Health team in this long service leave replacement position. This position offers a great chance to enjoy a rewarding role creating meaningful connections with the East Gippsland community.
The position:
As the Women's and Adolescent Health Nurse you will provide individual consultation with women around sexual and general well-being issues as well as conducting Cervical Screenings. In this role you will also provide sexual health advice to male and female youth and may at times be required to go to schools to assist staff deliver sexuality and relationships programs within their schools. This role is also responsible for undertaking health education and health promotion to the wider community and small groups within the community.

Key criteria required:
- AHPRA registration as registered nurse
- A minimum 2 years' experience working in a community setting
- A genuine interest in adolescent and women's health with a good knowledge of adolescent development and sexual health.
- An understanding of the importance of, and ability to, communicate sensitively with clients.
