Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitters needed now in FOOD PRODUCTION Factory Your next opportunity is awaiting you here working within the food industry! Are you a qualified maintenance fitter looking for a new challenge ? You will find it here. Vacancies currently available undergoing preventative maintenance on a range of semi and fully automated food processing and packaging machinery.There will be a range of scheduled maintenance, breakdown work, fault finding/troubleshooting, commissioning of new machines, and installs/repairs.
You could also be working closely with other maintenance teams on site.
Would need to be happy working around food and being within a cold environment. Night shift - Rotating Roster Week 1: Wednesday to Saturday 8pm-6am
Week 2: Thursday to Friday 6pm-6am
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience with in the food manufacturing industry is IDEAL
- Australian Trade Qualification as an Maintenance Fitter
- Proven experience on both breakdown and preventative maintenance
- Fault finding and problem solving skills and experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to TIG weld is a must
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components is an advantage.
- Commitment to quality and detail
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to work to deadlines
- Able to undertake a functionality assessment
- Available for immediate start
