Due to recent growth of the HPS business, we are in need of another Pharmacy Operations Manager to help manage our network of Pharmacies.

About the role:

Reporting to the National Manager - Pharmacy Operations, the Pharmacy Operations Manager will work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure that operations across the portfolio of Pharmacies are working efficiently, leading by best practice example and be willing to provide hands-on support in situations of complexity. This role is responsible for the delivery of a quality service that is compliant with legislative and client contractual requirements.

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is a key leadership and operational management role, operating under Key Performance Indicators (KPI). You will be competent in establishing and maintaining key relationships and be an enthusiastic and competent leader.

This role is located in Victoria, however you will need to be able to work flexible hours and have the ability to travel for work purposes as required.

The successful Applicant MUST have AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities

  • AHPRA General Registration as a Pharmacist
  • Oversee and manage client relationships nationwide within your portfolio of pharmacies,
  • Coordinate activities of Pharmacy Managers and Pharmacists-in-Charge towards achieving agreed financial targets and promote a positive team culture,
  • Ensure a high standard of pharmacy services and operations that is consistent, sustainable, and compliant with regional and national legislative requirements.

About you:

  • Thorough understanding of relevant legislation and industry landscapes
  • Highly developed persuasive interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy and AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to inspire, motivate, lead, and develop a team
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel and work away from home
  • Goal orientated, with willingness to take responsibility and be accountable for achieving results in line with strategic plan
  • Experience in the strategic planning, implementation and review of client servicing models that improve service delivery and increases market share and financial growth
  • Hospital pharmacy management experience (desirable)
