About The Role

ProVolley Academy is a leading volleyball club dedicated to promoting the sport's growth and excellence. The Volleyball Development Manager will contribute to the ProVolley’s vision to create a playful, safe and inclusive thriving Volleyball communities, enabling more people to play more often.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage and optimize day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance overall functioning.

Event Coordination:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute volleyball events, tournaments, and competitions.
  • Oversee logistics, including venue selection, scheduling, and equipment management.

Competition Coordination:

  • Oversee player and team registration processes for competitions.
  • Communicate effectively with participating teams, addressing inquiries and providing necessary information.

Staff Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate operational teams, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage professional development.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Implement and monitor risk management strategies for all operations and events.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the volleyball experience.
  • Communicate effectively with athletes, coaches, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Central to the role will also be improving the quality and consistency of program delivery and building safe, inclusive, and welcoming club culture.
  • A strong understanding of what optimal relationships between athletes and coaches/staff look like will be required for this position and the role digital systems play in connecting participants to Volleyball.

About You

What you will bring to the role/ requirements:

  • Proven experience in sports operations or event management, preferably in volleyball.
  • Preferable volleyball coaching experienced.
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and logistical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders, including volunteers, coaches, associations and local government agencies.
  • Passion for promoting sports excellence and community engagement.
  • Knowledge of volleyball rules, regulations, and trends.
