In this role, you'll:
Plan and conduct signalling inspections of assets, reporting on the asset condition to record and convey a level of assurance that the asset condition is of a compliant standard and meets competency requirements, or otherwise.
You will work in collaboration with the other Asset Assurance Inspector Signalling, to plan and carry our inspections at various locations across the Sydney Trains network, identifying and communicating issues to all relevant stakeholders.
You will also collaborate frequently with the broader Asset Inspection team to overcome challenges and identify solutions.

About you
You bring experience in maintenance activities with demonstrated ability to conduct detailed asset condition field inspections, including planning and scheduling activities and travelling to site to undertake asset inspections.
You will need to have strong negotiation skills as you will need to engage with and influence various stakeholders in accepting issues and recommendation.
You will be able to work autonomously and have good project management skills to ensure that inspections and work is conducted within timeframes and agreed budgets.
Ability to understand and interpret standards, drawings, specifications, schedules, test instructions, and test reports.
You must be a licensed and/or authorised signalling personnel (RG S 41415).
