Pay: $28 - $32 per hour based on experience

As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.

About Goodstart Rutherford:
Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Rutherford is located close to Rutherford Public School and the New England Highway – close to local shops and community facilities.

Our service caters for 75 children per day, we are proud to be an Inclusive service and provide care to families from various cultures and religions. All our Educators are currently qualified or are training for relevant Early Childhood Qualifications.

Inside, all the rooms - from Nursery to Kindergarten / Preschool – we are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.

Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests, and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

Outside, we have three areas all with age-appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have sandpits, sensory paths, dirt pit, gardens, steppingstones, timber decking, veggie patches and a balance of natural and manmade play surfaces.

You’ll need:
Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Current NSW Working with Children Check
