High growth has facilitated the need for some graduates (with 1- 3 years prior experience) to the join the organisation’s Operations team. This is a newly created role to cover client service support, operations and investor relations for clients.
- This role is focused on being the contact point for Clients ( fund managers , hedge funds, private equity funds, property funds) for queries, tech / platform support and any operational needs.
- Looking for someone with great client services skills, strong communicator, empathetic but helpful and again proactive in managing solutions and follow through.
- This position will gain invaluable experience across end-to-end operations within the funds administration business and tech platforms, with an emphasis on Investor Relations and Client services for fund registry, platform, and fund admin queries.
Key Responsibilities:
- The role will involve the following operational roles and responsibilities:
- Assist in administering all aspects of the platform via online administration tools.
- Ensure end-to-end completion of requests by the clients within my allocated list of funds.
- Cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external parties, particularly the fund manager representatives.
- Take inbound calls and emails from Fund Managers and Investors.
- Completion and monitoring of allocated queue of funds to service
- Ensuring processing and enquires are completed from beginning to end.
Desired Qualifications and Attributes
- This role will ideally be filled by a recent graduate, with a degree in finance, or a related discipline.
- Tech savvy and comfortable with online business tools.
- 1-3 years prior experience in financial services – ideally within Alternative investments
- Fast learners – the platform is custom developed, so you need to learn from scratch.
- Enthusiasm, High attention to detail, initiative, and accountability.
- Well organised and structured approach to working.
- Great attitude and a team player.
The role will pay between $65-80k + super, dependent on relevant years of experience.
