About the Role
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing essential administrative support to UTS International and support across a diverse range of activities including general, financial and operational administration. The position is expected to be customer oriented and deliver quality administration services with maximum effectiveness.
As well as support for international, the role provides high quality, administrative & office support to the Finance Leadership team and broader Finance Unit – including administrative support and other tasks within the Shared Services Team.
The role is based in the Shared Services Team, which comprises of: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Travel & Expense Management, Strategic Procurement and Finance Systems.
If successful in applying for this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain record management practices in line with University’s Record Management Program and maintain accurate financial and human resources records
- Provide support to the team. Collaborate on process improvement (systems, procedures) and process maps for continuous improvement.
- Process divisional purchase requisitions, accounts payable/receivable, reimbursements, financial data entry, overseas student health cover, etc. in a timely manner.
- Monitor and advise on accounts payable/receivable, payroll, or expense enquiries.
- Provide support for credit card program administration,
- Provide administrative support to the wider Finance Unit as required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across diverse teams
- Proactive and strong ability to use initiative, including good judgement, prioritisation and expectations management.
- Diverse experience in a wide range of executive assistant and general administrative duties
- Demonstrated experience in a business support position including managing incoming calls, mail and visitors and providing information, managing diaries and arranging meetings and appointments.
- Experience in data entry tasks in Oracle / Concur SAP and other associated systems (including excel registers) and filing
Remuneration & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $78,667 to $89,995 pa (HEW 5)
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
