So, what’s the job?

You will be the subject matter expert on various risk management and compliance frameworks and manage the annual cycle of compliance and other operational and strategic risk assessments, providing a holistic perspective of risks across the Cover-More Group as well as insightful management reporting, while managing Cover-More’s GRC application (Tickit) and maintain information in Zurich’s GRC application (RACE).

You'll maintain the enterprise risk management framework and act as the subject matter expert within the team on the application of various risk management and compliance frameworks.
You'll manage the Group-level strategic risk assessment (“Group Total Risk Profile”) in close collaboration with senior risk owners.
You'll manage the annual cycle of strategic, operational, and compliance risk assessments, working together closely with local R&C teams.
You'll manage the Group-level incident process.
You'll monitor action completion for Group-level incidents and strategic risks.
You'll prepare the quarterly Group R&C report and support local R&C teams in preparation of quarterly and monthly reporting.
You'll prepare ad-hoc reports as required.
You'll continuously improve the reporting process with simplification and automation.
You'll own the Cover-More GRC application (Tickit) and will support the transition of select information to the Zurich GRC application (RACE)
You'll support the Group Chief Risk and Compliance Officer with ad-hoc requests and initiatives.

And what are we looking for?

You'll need five years of relevant work experience in insurance or financial services, with exposure to risk management, compliance, and/or audit being advantageous.
You'll need a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of study or equivalent experience.
You'll need familiarity with GRC applications.
You'll find familiarity with insurance terminology, products, issuing systems, and distribution methods to be a plus.
You'll require advanced Power BI skills.
You'll need advanced Microsoft Office skills (including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and an affinity for handling new applications.
You'll possess an analytical mindset.
You'll have good communication skills.
You'll demonstrate attention to detail and discipline.
You'll be organized, systematic, and thorough.
You'll have the ability to stand up and hold firm.
You'll be solution-oriented.
