The Company
We are an established WA owned and run Company operating 17 Cafes, a Central Bakehouse, and Administration. We are renowned for welcoming service, great coffee, and our handmade cakes, pastries, and sandwiches.
The Role
We are seeking hands-on, energetic Kitchen hands and a Kitchen Supervisor to join our fast-paced Miss Maud Joondalup kitchen. You will have hospitality/ catering experience in a similar role and a passion for production gorgeous high-quality products.
As a Kitchen hand, reporting directly to the Café Manager and Kitchen Supervisor, your duties may include:

• Creating Miss Maud gourmet sandwiches, baguettes, and wraps
• Preparing the kitchen for the lunchtime rush
• Producing a large range of Miss Maud catering platters
• Cleaning and sanitising the kitchen to ensure all food safety standards are met

As a Kitchen Supervisor, reporting directly to Management, your duties may include:

• Supervising and leading the kitchen team according to Miss Maud procedures
• Motivating and training kitchen team members
• Operating the kitchen efficiently whilst following Food Safety regulations
• Maintaining product presentation and provide high-quality products
• Controlling stock

Skills and Experience

• Good communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Able to work both in a team and as an individual
• Ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task
• Attention to detail
• Previous experience in cafe, kitchen, food service or catering roles highly desirable

Kitchen Supervisor applicants must have;

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
• The ability to motivate and lead junior team members
• A structured and organised approach with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously
