Your new role

As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for providing leadership to the Finance team and the accurate and timely preparation of financial management reporting, cost modelling, analysis and interpretation of financial data and the acquittal of grant funding. The key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Ensure completion of the financial month-end process, including but not limited to posting general lodger journals, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end financial management reporting
  • Ensure all accounting processes such as bank reconciliations, account payable and receivables, NDIS claiming, receipting and fixed assets register are maintained in a timely manner.
  • Assist stakeholders with cost modelling scenarios and interpreting financial data to improve financial efficiencies
  • Prepare grant funding acquittals and financial cost modelling for grant applications.
  • Take a lead role in the preparation of the annual corporate budget and rolling forecast.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting with previous work experience of 3 years in the management accountant position.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) qualified or working toward qualification (desirable).
  • Satisfactory DHS Working with Children Clearance, NDIS Worker Screening, and National Police Check.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of the Non-for-Profit sector, NDIS Pricing Arrangements, Price Limits, terms of business and related legislation (desirable).
