LO Forklift Operator | Wacol
The Role
In partnership with a world-class heavy machinery manufacturer, Toll People are currently recruiting experienced Storepeople to join their Dispatch, Inwards and Production teams in Wacol. These roles will suit someone looking for regular employment in a team environment with a commitment to safety.
A great opportunity to get in and cement your spot with the team, pay rates starting at $34 per hour. Ongoing full working weeks with overtime available. Looking for day and night shift positions to fill.
Key Responsibilities
- Ability to safely operate a forklift to load and unload heavy machinery parts, to move or transport stock within the warehouse and production areas
- Ability to safely pick orders using forklifts
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Manually pick parts and load trolleys or pallets for transport to production
- Operate a computer to check orders, stock availability, missing parts etc
- Manual handling as required
Skills & Experience
- Current valid LO licence - Order Picker Forklift
- Experience operating order picker forklifts
- Experience in a warehouse/dispatch environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including Drug & Alcohol Screen
