We are seeking a Marketing Manager to cover a 12-month parental leave contract who thinks strategically and creatively; and works collaboratively to help build our growing APAC/Africa business.

Based in our Brisbane office, this role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer and includes one direct report. You will lead marketing activities across the region and occasionally be involved in global projects.

To be successful you require a deep understanding of best practice campaign management, digital content development, marketing material development, sponsorships, and event management. The role requires a creative and collaborative individual who takes initiative, embraces a fast-paced evolving atmosphere and endeavors to deliver with speed and accuracy.

About the role.

  • Manage execution of marketing strategy and integrated campaigns to position the firm, enhance our reputation and advance development goals in APAC/Africa
  • Develop corporate, service-line and project specific marketing material
  • Plan and execute marketing programs for the region, including strategic advertising and sponsorships, thought leadership, social media and website, conferences, award submissions, client workshops, webinars, etc. - ensuring appropriate executive review and approvals have been obtained
  • Establish and manage relationships with industry bodies, trade publications and event organisers to elevate the Ausenco brand and promote our subject matter experts (SMEs)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing is aligned and positioned to with corporate goals
  • Contribute to, and implement, strategic global marketing campaigns across the region.
  • Conduct market research and make recommendations accordingly
  • Stay informed of marketing and industry trends to ensure marketing activities remain current and targeted

About you.

  • Business Administration, Marketing or Communications Degree preferred
  • Proven experience in marketing & a track record of innovative and progressive marketing campaigns that deliver results
  • Experience in a B2B environment with engineering/construction/professional services sectors highly regarded
  • Proven experience creating and executing integrated marketing programs with high degree of familiarity with digital platforms
  • Excellent editing, writing and proof-reading skills
  • Digital marketing experience focused on demand generation and relationship building
  • Possess knowledge of web analytics and able to develop and maintain streamlined processes
  • Can work well independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities within tight deadlines
  • Be self-motivated as well as highly organised and detail oriented
  • Able to travel occasionally as required
