Your new role:
Our friendly and professional Food Services Team at the Royal Melbourne Hospital- Royal Park Campus are looking for people who are experienced Food Service Assistants to join our team. Food Services interact with staff, patients, relatives and colleagues and their actions and behaviours are guided by the organisations values.
Food Service Assistants are an integral part of the hospital team and are responsible for the following:
- Preparing and delivery of meals to Patients
- Ensuring a clean kitchen environment is maintained
- Liaising with Team Leaders and Ward Staff
- Use of Chemicals
About you:
In order to be considered for this role you will need:
- Basic Food Handling Certificate.
- A completed Certificate 3 in Health Patient Services, a PSA, PCA certificate or equivalent Certificate 3 in Health .
- Excellent work ethic, customer service skills, time management skills and the ability to successfully work in a team environment.
- Ability to safely use cleaning supplies & equipment.
- Participate in a roster and work in an allocated area and other areas as requested.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends and afternoon shifts.
