Description:

The rewarding role of a Custodial Correctional Officer allows you to contribute to the safe running in providing a secure the efficient operation of a Correctional Centre. You will accept the challenge of working to ensure prisoners are managed safely, securely and act as an agent of change to stop the cycle of reoffending.
You will be a role model to prisoners and encourage them to amend their behaviours to rehabilitate, reintegrate and lead a successful life free of crime after prison.

In order to become a Custodial Correctional Officer, you are required to complete a 10-week full time Custodial Officer entry program through the QCS Academy.
