An opportunity has arisen for a skilled SCM Business Analyst to join a dynamic team within a prominent retail chain. In this role, the selected candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs, translate requirements, and coordinate the implementation of solutions aimed at optimizing supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead workshops with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with IT leaders and the D365 team to translate business requirements into technical specifications within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
- Model business processes, identify areas for optimization, and evaluate the impact of proposed solutions.
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements, conducting thorough requirements analysis.
- Develop functional specifications for solutions, oversee testing and implementation, and provide end-user training.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- A proactive self-starter who excels in autonomous roles.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a similar retail environment.
- Skilled at bridging the gap between business and technical teams.
- A keen eye for identifying issues and opportunities early on, with a passion for contributing ideas to the team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Strong end-to-end Business Analysis experience.
- Experience collaborating with software development teams.
- Proficiency in preparing User Stories, Test scripts/cases, and conducting testing.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools such as DevOps, Confluence, Jira, and Zephyr.
- Experience in process mapping and planning.
- Proficient in supply chain management principles, including inventory optimization, demand planning, logistics, and production management.
- Strong analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for supply chain operations.
- Experience creating and maintaining documentation and training materials for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
- Preferably experienced with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems in supply chain management modules.

- Hybrid (3 days a week in office)
- Located in Homebush/Olympic Park area
- $120-130K+Super
