We are looking for a passionate Hospitality Professional to join the Polperro Winery Group Leadership team.
This current restaurant / venue supervisor role is based at our Many Little Bar & Dining venue in the heart of Red Hill , Mornington Peninsula. This unique opportunity offers a great works life balance with a 4 day working week ( Thursday & Friday evenings & Saturday & Sunday lunch & dinner ) and enormous career potential for the right candidate writhing the broader Polperro Winery Group.
Many Little is a Chefs hat ( 2022 & 2023) award winning bar and dinning room , with the unique balance of being the much loved locals & Hospo hang out and equally stands alone as a popular destination restaurant.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, managing a team, and ensuring the smooth running of the restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders
- Ensure that all guests receive exceptional customer service and that their needs are met promptly
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling
- Train and develop staff members to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the menu, service standards, and company policies
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that all dishes meet the restaurant's standards
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment, including the dining area, kitchen, and storage areas
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve the restaurant's performance and profitability
Qualifications:
- Experience in a supervisory role in the restaurant industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktail service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
