About the Role:
The Coordinator for Learning and Development Driving plays a key role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs to enhance the capabilities of all CFA members in delivering services. You will provide support to ensure consistency in Driver Training practices, collaborating closely with approved providers and regional teams to strengthen brigade capabilities and sustainability.
The role involves collaboratively developing district-specific driving training plans, coordinating and organising training resources, and communicating with internal/external stakeholders.
The Coordinator prepares reports, analyses training activities and ensures evaluation processes are in place. You will manage training records, supervise administration staff, and support the maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) for driving. See the PD attached for more details.
About You:
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent and an understanding of the arrangements, standards and environment of a RTO.
* Well-developed written communication skills to develop reports & correspondence and to convey training information and objectives to internal & external customers.
* Proven administrative skills and experience including word processing, spread sheets and ability to utilize a variety of enterprise wide systems and applications.
* A contemporary understanding of competency based learning & development business practices
* Proven ability to manage numerous, varied and concurrent projects within budget, quality and time parameters.
* Well-developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
* Proven ability to work autonomously and as an effective member of a (virtual) team.
* An understanding of the application of Driving within the Emergency Services sector. (Desirable)
