An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Administration Officer (NDIS & Long Stay) to join the Allied Health Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Your opportunity:

  • Responsible for providing, developing and maintaining an efficient, effective, ethical and confidential administrative and secretarial support service to the Allied Health Clinical Lead – NDIS and Long Stay and Allied Health team.
  • This position operates with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all stakeholders involved in the NDIS and Long stay space.
  • To provide accurate and timely information and assistance to clients and staff within the Health Service District and external agencies.
  • This position reports to the Allied Health Clinical Lead (NDIS and long stay), Allied Health Services.

Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer:

You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $43,662 p.a., comprising salary between $37.69 - $41.91 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (Permanent Part Time, 35 hours p.f.)
