The role

As the Principal HR Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leading the management of HR analytic capabilities and advanced workforce insights through machine larning models written in Python or R. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our organization has access to integrated and robust data models to inform effective predictive and prescriptive decision-making.

  • Develop analytic models and algorithms to identify workforce drivers impacting business strategy, improving performance, resourcing, and employee experience.
  • Engage stakeholders to manage data analytics activities, including hypothesis development, data exploration, and communicating risk through executive presentations written reports.
  • Research and analyze emerging workforce trends to contribute to strategic and operational management solutions.
  • Select or develop measures and methodologies to ensure analytic robustness, reviewing data collection and transformation mechanisms.
  • Evaluate and recommend sustainable methods, tools, and practices for analytics solutions, providing expert guidance on planning and implementation.

The successful person

You will have demonstrated:

  • Ability to integrate machine learning outputs into broader dashboards preferably in PowerBI in an enterprise environment. Specific experience programming in Python or R.
  • Ability to provide expert advice on problem evaluation and data science solution requirements, including identifying relevant data sources..
  • Ability to select data analytics techniques based on comprehensive knowledge of their strengths, weaknesses, and expected performance.
  • Contribution to the development of analytics policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Determine and delegate objectives and tasks, including people management responsibilities when necessary. Set quality and performance targets aligned with organizational goals, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
